What Communication Center does
Messages lives in the top bar of the web portal and in the Teacher, Parents and Owner apps. The school decides who may message whom, every message is screened for personal contact details before it is stored, and a Communication Report gives the record when somebody asks what was said.

Can parents message any teacher?
Only what Communication Settings allows. Many schools route parents to the class teacher and the office only.
Is this SMS or WhatsApp?
No. It is in-app messaging; SMS and WhatsApp are separate channels for notifications.
